J : ' Hey, i was being stopped by a guy just now. He asked for my number.'

A : ' Uh-huh. Then.' (Sense some uneasiness in him)

J : ' Oh, he said he is from this advertising agency, looking for new faces.'

A : ' Okay.'

J: ' Damn. This is the 3rd time in the row. Haha.'

A (I think he is -> o.0) : ' Thats good. I have never met this before.'
P.S : Baby, it's good not to meet this. They a bunch of nuisance.

J : ' Seriously, I dont know what did they see in me? Do i have the advertising look?' (A Big wide grin with a tinge of crossed eyes)

A : ' Maybe. Let me have the name of the company. I'll go and check it out. I can go down with you.'

J : ' Nah. Dont bother. Its a waste of time.'

Oh well, i wonder the agents of the modeling/advertising agencies are blind or desperate for commission. They just pick the people out on the streets, thinking that every girl or guy in S'pore has been fantasizing about being a idol. Well, I dont have. I am happy with myself. Moreover, we have to pay in order to be their models. But the ultimate question is ' Why do we have to pay when you are the one asking us to be your models?' There is NO sense in this!!

The last time i went, to check out how they operate their business. They actually asked me to pay a sum of $280 first. When they have jobs, then they will call me. Come'on. If I really take up this job, I'll be eating grass and drinking sea water everyday. This job is a part-time - do for pleasure/hobby , earning some extra cash.

Also, whatever you have earned, they are gona take a certain percentage.

So young girls / young boys out there, I know you have been dreaming to be a star / model. But beat it. Be realistic. Be happy with yourself. All these companies out there are out to suck your money, as they know one can give up anything just to fufill their dreams.

So be careful when you encounter this. I laughed when they appraoched me. I simply rejected them.
