We had decided to go to Sentosa on Satuday to chill since we have not been there for so long. But, it was raining and I had prepared all the foods for nothing. In the end, we landed our arses in Pacific Coffee and played bomberman via Nintendo. We had a nice afternoon. Then we went back to Ad's house.

Sun

We met early in the morning at 10am for a Pulau Ubin Trip. It was fun until we realised the bike we rented has a major problem - brakes not working! We had to push the bike like an idoit up and downhill. We had a bad experience when we went down the hill too fast and in the end Ad had to use his leg to stop the bike and I was screaming away. We went to mangrove swamps to walk and fed mossies at the same time. We saw mudskippers and a big mysterious bird up at a tree (and it looks like a vulture anyway) But it was raining cats and dogs but we decided to ride our bikes all the way down back to the stupid bike shop. Both Ad and I had to brake with our feet. When we reached the bike shop, we complained loudly so that everybody could hear (and yeap it did). Everyone was looking at us and the old man still had the cheek to smile and asked if we want to exchange a new bike and Ad shouted, finished already la! and then the son asked, is it?! and Ad was so pissed off as the guy was picking a fight. We are so fucking pissed as the guy didnt even apologise and didint even do any refund. I can't remember the bike shop but it is near to the end of the whole stretch of bike shops. it is near to the chinese temple and is run by father and son team. The son is pretty young but they are fucking rude. So guys, if you treasure your life, please DO NOT rent bicycles from this shop. They told you how good their bikes are. But they look like some scrap metals for $15 and that was their best bikes! The brakes are not working and it will change gears automatically esp. when we go uphill. So please.. however read my blog entry, please DO NOT rent bicycles from them. They are really renting bicycles with problems and they are REALLY rude. Please heed my advice. Dont be like us... having a bike which cant work at all. It was quite a unhappy experience for us.
