14th April 2009 - 2 days after my bday celebration
Note: I would like to thank all for joining this celebration of Joreen breathing in this earth for 21 years. (and still going on... :))
I've never had such a good celebration and would definitely want more but at the expanse of my parents' money (they had burnt a big hole in their pocket).
I've have received many warm and true wishes from my friends and loved ones. I was really happy on that day and the bady wish I had is for everyone who came. I loved them just like how they loved me. I was really touched. And of course, I received 2 Raulph Lauren Notorious on that day, but different sizes. Haha. I was so shocked when I saw 2 identical perfumes. Thanks for those who bought that for me. And now, I can officially striked off from my wishlist. Hee.
I've also gotten 2 bday cakes from my mum and Ad's mum. The story goes that both mums knew that I don't have a bday cake (cos I dont want to have 1). So my mum went to preorder 1 on Sat night and Ad brought it on Sunday. Ad's mum called me after she learnt from Ad that I don't have a cake and secretly bought one from Secret Recipe. So thats how I got my 2 cakes. But I've to thank both mums for loving me.
But there's 1 person I must truly admire and salute to - my mum. Cos she prepared all the good foods for my bday bash. Everyone in the party simply loves her cooking and even want her to start a cooking lesson! Haha. Everyone praises my mum for being a great cook and of course I am proud to say that's my mum! Hee :)
Nonetheless, I would like to thank some as they have rendered much help for this event:
1. Adrian (for helping me and staying with me throughout the 3 days)
2. Bernard (for helping me out in the chalet)
3. Jess (for helping me out in the chalet and keeping me accompany while the guys have their fun)
4. Basil (for making the great booze/cocktail for everyone and keeping up the good fun)
The 3 days were intense and good fun. I really enjoyed, so much that I feel lazy and reluctant to come back to work. haha.. I want more. maybe i will organise another chalet next time for relaxing purposes. but this time at downtown east. heehee..
It is really a unforgettable day for me. I really appreciate that.
